    ADT Product wasn’t what I was promised, misled by sales reps who overcharged me and won’t let me cancel

    They lied to us about the services and I purchased a security system and cameras and wasn’t given second camera and it took them 62 days to come around to install them when they did they drilled holes in my stain glass window frame to run wires through. Charged me for two months with no cameras that I paid for. Needless to say wouldn’t let me out of a contract for things I never gotten.

    American Home Shield Complaint

    Waited five days for AHS to locate a plumber to fix our water heater. They could not find one that they have a contract with. On the fifth day called and authorized us to used our own plumber but our company had to call in for a authorization number which included them doing a full diagnostic test on the broken unit. To do this the unit had to be dismantled. A new unit had to be installed. AHS denied reimbursement to us because the Call for authorization was made 10 minutes after the new unit was installed. No one told us they had to call first and I was told but for this point they would have covered the replacement.

    American Home Shield Complaint

    I put a work order back in October 2019 for a water heater that was leaking; they replace the water heater in Jan 2020. The leaking caused damages to a booster and they now are saying that don’t want to pay for the booster. I still don’t have more than 5minutes of hot water.

    ADT Complaint

    I sold a house located in Katy, TX in September 2015. The service was canceled by phone, the alarm device was disconnected and also the telephone was disconnected. The new owner change to a different security service provider. However, ADT continued charging automatically $56.42 per month to my account. These charges have been done for more than 4 years up to the present time. I contacted ADT billing support and their answered that there were no records showing a cancellation and that they require a cancellation letter.

    Perch I called ADT they sent a guy out to the house which insisted that I take things that I didn’t order they wanted over $2,000 for equipment when I told him I had a coupon that would give me oh like 90% of the stuff for free and he said he would be back the next day for me to sign a contract but he took $1,000 out of my checking account the guy never came back with a contract then ADT wanted me to sign a contract I told him I wanted to cancel and them to come and get their equipment I sent them three notices to come and get their equipment now they’re trying to sue me for over $1,000 when I had told them repeatedly to come and get their equipment I moved of I had asked them to come and ge

    Yes, An sales rep was in my area scouting out leads for homeowners for home security. Well they knock at my door and introduced me to Vivint. I explained to him that I was not really interested. He insisted that I try it out for a few days to see if it may be something I would like. I agreed. The installers came in and installed the system.
