This is twice now I’ve had a major issue with optimum. Most recently, my internet stopped working. I was told I could have a technician fix it to the tune of $80 or take it to the store since there was something wrong with my modem. I wait over an hour in the store to swap it out. I get home and follow the instructions and it still does not work. I get back with support via chat (I’m currently still waiting for a call back again over an hour…) and he tells me something is still wrong I can go back to the store OR send a tech for $80. Why should I pay to fix optimum’s mistake? Worst of all I’m not being compensated for the time and energy I have to spend to try and resolve this PLUS I don’

I have submitted a regular monthly payment to Optimum on Jan 5, 2020, all of which prior to that were also made on time for years. While the payment was being processed – Optimum’s website has had some sort of a glitch and page updated several times, but in the end payment went through and I have received 1 (one) payment confirmation e-mail. Instead of 1 time charge however – Optimum charged me 4 times and when I contacted customer service – they suggested to address the issue with the bank, which I did and bank returned 3 out of 4 payments as those 3 were not authorized. 1 payment remained at Optimum and covered the whole balance due at that moment. they have been charging me $12 a month for 10 years! to rent a $60 modem! id like my money back or a credit. they should be embarrassed to have such unethical business practices. As a small business owner I would have no customers if I treated people this way.

I signed up for ALTICE MOBILE on JANUARY 2, 2020 for 2 lines. On January 3 , I received one SIM card (instead of two). I called them immediately and was told that the service dept. will take care of it. One week passed and no answer. I called again was told the same thing again. I went to the local optimum office and they said that they could not do anything about it. Meanwhile Altice mobile started billing me for $34.46. My service was never activated and I tried to contact them with this issue and no success. They will not even cancel my order. I had issued nonpayment through my bank for service not received. Now I keep getting emails form altice moble that my payment is overdue. Please h

I have not been able to receive all the channels that I pay for. When I call tech support they constantly blame something else and have repeatedly sent me to the store to replace parts but that was not the problem. finally, they sent out a tech from a contracted company who was not trained to resolve the problem, I was having, What make this even worse is thatwhen I made the appointment I confirmed that they would be sending the parts needs to fix my specific problem and somehow they sent out a tech without the parts and untrained to resolve my issue. I have never experienced a company that demonstrates zero regard for their customer.

In April if 2019 I changed my service from regular Optimum to Altice One (their latest gen system) part of my agreement included certain perks to include a $100 gift card. I never received my card and spent 8 months calling customer service to find out why it was never sent… hours spent, escalations, inept customer service….finally led to corporate escalation. They finally told me on 1/6/20 that because I didn’t pay on my due date (maybe a day or two later I paid) I was i eligible for the gift card. 108 months of being charged for high speed internet and never given a router or instructed how to go about using internet access. My 84 year old mother was told the modem being rented was so she could have VOIP access. Estimate $6800 in overcharges. Optimum violated consumer law by failing to provide adequate equipment for service and failed to instruct how services worked

Within the first 2 week I had called them (optimum) apprx 10 times and had two service tech come out (each time they tried to charge me $80). I went to cancel optimum today and they are billing me an extra 23 days due to their terms which is not stated on any paperless bill, you have to go to optimum.net/terms and click around to find it.
