How to Cancel Your Account with First American Home Warranty

When you are ready to cancel your account, you can choose to do so over the phone or via email. When you cancel you will need:

  • The name on the account
  • The account number
  • The phone number associated with the account
  • The address on file

Over the Phone

Call customer service at 1-800-992-3400. 

Ask that they tell you about their cancellation process. They will have to find your account and provide that information to the representative after going over what the fees might be based on the account you have.

Via Email 

You can also draft an email requesting that your account be closed. For this, you will need to include your account information and send it to cancellationsupport@firstAM.com

Note: If you do not receive a confirmation email once you have submitted your cancellation request via email, you can call 1-800-992-3400, then press 2. Once you get connected to a representative make sure you get a confirmation number or confirm that you have received a confirmation email.

Always keep any cancellation documents on file in case there are problems or disputes later, such as problems getting a refund you deserve.
