The actual payment due date is usually two or three weeks after the billing cycle closes. If you send the payment too soon, then the company applies it to the billing cycle when the company received the payment. To see your payment on the statement, you should wait to send your payment, so it is applied to the right billing cycle before the billing cycle closes. However, always make sure that you pay your bill before the payment due date to prevent KeyBank from adding a late payment fee. 

Setting Up Online Bill Pay

Online bill pay is easy to set up and you’ll be able to see immediately when your KeyBank bill has posted. KeyBank bill pay online is also available. Online payments tend to take 24 hours to post or longer during holidays and weekends. If you are mailing your KeyBank credit card payment or auto loan payment then please give it ample time to arrive since the credit card company will report you as late and charge a late fee (which will be reflected on your statement) if you fail to get the payment to them on time. You can receive your statement online but you will have to create a KeyBank online account for statements.  To fill it out, you’ll need to provide personal information and your credit card details. You can also make auto or credit card payments and even have email reminders sent to remind you of your next statement and bill due date. To make a KeyBank online payment then you can use your debit/ATM card or even your checking/savings account.

Setting Your KeyBank Paperless Statement

Nowadays with everyone trying to do their part to improve the environment, you might want to set up your KeyBank, so it sends you a paperless statement directly to your email. The process of setting up paperless statements is very simple. 

Setting up your online KeyBank statement for paperless building: 

  • Login in your online banking
  • Go to the ‘documents’ tab and click on it. 
  • Click on the ‘Manage Delivery Options’ and choose which accounts you want to become online statements. 

KeyBank Mobile App and Automatic Payments

Once you have your online account set up and you are receiving online statements then you can use KeyBank’s mobile app to access your account and view your statement. You can even set up 


  • Open the KeyBank’s mobile app using your smartphone
  • Touch the  “Statements” tab on the KeyBank’s app
  • Click on “Delivery Options” on the app and then click  “Paperless Settings” online
