It was being used to store cars until more and more people began telling her about the building’s history. This led to the idea to transform the building into a unique Airbnb. PITTSBURG, Ks. – The city of Pittsburg approves the creation of a community improvement district. The district will be located on the north side of town and include businesses Home depot and Rib Crib. It will add a sales tax to those business ranging from point one percent to two percent. Those taxes will be used to pay for projects to improve the district.
PITTSBURG, Ks. – The City Commission of Pittsburg voted Tuesday on whether or not to declare a large portion of downtown Pittsburg, Kansas as the Pittsburg Arts District. Officials say the purpose would be to maintain the spirit of art and culture through community interaction, education, and innovation. The commission did approve the district.
