AT&T Inc. workers challenging how their pensions are calculated can seek relief on behalf of the pension plan as a whole after a California federal judge rejected the company’s attempt to trim portions of their proposed class action.
The workers’ complaint plausibly alleges that they seek to “vindicate an injury to the Plan” and obtain relief that will compensate the plan for its losses, Judge James Donato of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.
