Chase Bank customers take note: Exclusive: JPMorgan Chase to leave namesake tower for new downtown Dallas address, sources say

From Dallas Business Journal:

JPMorgan Chase is planning to move from its namesake tower in downtown Dallas to a new address nearby, according to sources with knowledge of the deal.

The company is looking to lease around 120,000 square feet at 1900 N. Akard Street. Since the 14-story building near Klyde Warren Park was built in 2007, it has been the headquarters of Hunt Consolidated Inc. JPMorgan Chase is relocating from its previous address at 2200 Ross Ave., also known as Chase Tower. The company previously occupied multiple floors at the building, according to certificates of occupancy filed with the city of Dallas.

According to LoopNet, about 193,000 square feet of contiguous space is available for lease at Chase Tower. Many of these available floors were previously occupied by JPMorgan Chase. Several of these floors are listed as being available by October 2022, according to LoopNet.

It is not clear how many employees will be making the move to 1900 N. Akard. When reached, a spokesperson for JPMorgan Chase declined to comment about the deal but offered the following statement: “JPMorgan Chase is committed to Dallas and maintaining a meaningful presence in the city’s vibrant downtown business district.”
