Comcast headlines: Comcast opens Hixson Xfinity customer retail store

Comcast will open a new Xfinity customer retail store in Hixson at noon Friday.

The 3,000 square-foot facility, located in the Hixson Shopping Center at 5550 Highway 153, features interactive displays and lounge-like seating areas where visitors can explore all Xfinity products, from internet, video and connected home solutions to Xfinity Mobile. The store is the second of its kind to be added in Chattanooga.

“We’re proud to bring this new retail setting and enhanced level of service to customers in Hixon and Greater Chattanooga” said Jason Gumbs, regional senior vice president at Comcast. “This latest Xfinity store opening is another milestone in our larger campaign to offer a simpler and more convenient retail experience.”

The store will be open for business Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
