The Sprint-T-Mobile Merger And The Surprising History Between John Legere And Dan Hesse, according to Forbes

Six weeks ago, when the last major obstacle to the T-Mobile – Sprint merger was removed, I talked to Dan Hesse about the logic of the merger and its implications for 5G.

With the transaction completed last week, I thought I’d follow up and ask him about his important relationship with T-Mobile CEO John Legere.

As background on Dan Hesse: during Hesse’s years as Sprint’s CEO, the company was recognized 20 times by J.D. Power and Associates for excellence in customer service and named the most improved U.S. company in overall customer satisfaction by the American Customer Satisfaction Index. For his last two full calendar years as CEO, Sprint’s Total Shareholder Return ranked #1 among all S&P 500 companies.
