Another proposed class action filed against T-Mobile US Inc. following its role in a massive data breach has been put on ice after a Washington federal judge found it’d be best to wait until the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation rules on a transfer motion.
Waiting for that JPML decision will promote judicial efficiency and likely won’t unduly prejudice plaintiff Daniel Simaan, Judge Barbara J. Rothstein wrote in an order filed Nov. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
Attorneys representing Simaan didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
