Over 40 lawsuits against T-Mobile US Inc. following a large-scale data breach it suffered in summer 2021 have been allowed to proceed after a conditional transfer order was finalized in Missouri federal court.
The cases, which originated in states ranging from Washington to New Jersey, were officially transferred to the Western District of Missouri, according to the conditional transfer order finalization filed Wednesday in that court.
The dozens of lawsuits contain common questions of fact as to the T-Mobile breach that affected millions of American customers.
The multidistrict litigation is assigned to Judge Brian C. Wimes.
