FairShake is committed to applying technology to protect consumers’ rights and empower individuals to take action. We want to hear your ideas around what issues are most heavily impacting American consumers, and how to step up and fix them.
This scholarship is intended for promising undergraduates with an interest in using the law to protect consumer rights.
What are consumer rights? They’re your right to not be deceived and abused by companies who do things like make false promises in their advertising, incentivize salespeople to mislead you, or design systems they know will trick you into agreements.
Violations of consumer rights often fall most heavily onto underprivileged communities, so applicants with this background will receive special consideration.
