HughesNet Product Wasn’t What I Was Promised
It started right away but being in the rural area this was our only choice, we have never been able to watch an on demand movie through dish network as was advertised with the group details or even a netflix movie to the very end as it would buffer constantly. I called and they told me I had a different issue as their test showed it to be high speed the day after I paid the bill and fresh data to use. I could run a hot spot off my phone and watch everything just fine and have now purchased a different product to run my entire house and have nothing hooked up through Hughes net and still burn through the data somehow. I had also called to raise the limit when Covid hit as my daughter had to do virtual learning and the raised the data to the largest amount and they gave us a discount of thirty dollars a month and we would burn through that and it still wasnt fast enough for her to do her homework or zoom her class. I would have to come home from work and hot spot her chromebook to complete her homework but she missed the zoom classes which made it very difficult for her to understand her homework without the explanation or directions.i have up calling as I knew I would never get anywhere with them and now they raised the price back up as school started back up so I dropped the data and went with something else that works excellent.
What would you like the company to do to fix the problem?
Cancel my service without a cancellation fee and I will return all of their equipment.
