    AT&T customer service lied to me about prices

    AT&T charged me after I tried to cancel

    Quite a few years ago, I switched out my brothers LG tablet that was under my AT&T plan for data. Once I purchased an iPad for my brother, I disclosed that information to customer service at AT&T and was told that the service would be canceled. Fast forward to today where I was told by a customer service representative that the tablet was never taken off of the bill. He then further stated, that he would only be able to go back for three months. He did verify that there had been no activity on the data line connected to the tablet for years but he was still only able to credit my account for three months because he could not find a note from the customer service representative.     AT&T service didn’t work as advertised and they charged me after cancellation and put incorrect info on my credit report

    ATT has overcharged me for years. I had the unlimited plan and was unhappy with the service not working properly. The company told me I should explorer other carriers in my area as they will not be able to continually give me account credits for poor service. I left AT&T and was improperly billed,$672.01 and sent to collections. I spoke with a CS rep on 1/30/2020 regarding some of the charges, the rep told me a credit of 76.01 was applied to my account and sent email confirmation of the credit. AT&T has failed to apply the credit and improperly billed and sent this account to collection;which has highly impacted my credit and score.     AT&T customer service lied to me about the price and it didn’t work as advertised, then charged me after I tried to cancel

    A sales person was going around the neighborhood seeking new customers saying that I would save a lot of money if I switched over to AT&T. It sounded good to me, and I switched. I got internet, tv (DirecTV), and phones. I also got new iPhone from the company which were said to be free and included. Then, I realized they were charging me way over what was initially said. Therefore, I cancelled the account. They continued to charge me, and requested that I had to return the iPhones which I knew I had to do. I returned them and even had the AT&T rep sign a form that I made stating I was returning them. Later, they took out 1773.46 from my bank account for these phones which I already returned.

    I ordered 3 phones and paid $195 for them and returned them within the 14 day return window because it didnt meet my expectations. Att only refunded me $30. They said because the box was open they are charging me $55 restocking fee per phone. None of that was stated when i purchased the phones.
