Internet service will not work in the evening/night. This has been going on as long as I’ve had their service. Last week they contacted me with an apology and the promise this issue was remedied. Since that time it has not worked a single night. Right now it is 1:20 am and it has not worked since it shut of in the 2nd quarter of the Cowboys Saints game. This is the 2nd Cowboys game in 4 weeks it has shut me out of.

We recently discovered that Centurylink didn’t cancel our bundled phone/internet account when we moved from Colorado to Washington State in 2011, even though they were contacted via phone. All other utilities were cancelled in good time. When we moved to Washington State, we had a new account with Centurylink until three months ago when we “cut the cord” and got fiber. The WA account was cancelled as per telephone call, same as we did for CO. As the bill(s) were being paid through Centurylink’s autopay system, we only saw a debit from our bank every month and “assumed” (yes, I know) that it was for the WA account. Contacted them to get service “fiber optics” at the new home i’m purchasing. Was led to believe that they provided service in that area, they created an account for me but i told them my credit could not be run, i never even gave them my SSN, agent told me no worries and typed all 9’s in the SSN box. 5 minutes later my credit was run? I then was told an engineer would be sent out to check the address was covered for fiber and would be sent out the 23rd of September. I called the 23rd and found out not only do they not provide fiber optics but i dont even get service from them. I signed up for Centurylink Phone and internet service when my company migrated all office workers to WAH positions. I was advised that if I added home phone service, for around $10/month more, I would receive a $200 Visa gift card, I eventually did receive my giftcard but not till almost 3 months after my service was connected. Experienced a few outages here and there, mostly during bad weather, so I figured that’s typical of severe weather. Then on Friday June 28– my internet service crashed, around 4pm. I order centrylink for internet I have a one bedroom small apartment a laptop and a couple of phones that I wanted hooked up. I called centrylink and ordered service because the advertisement saying that I can get service for 29.99 then when I order the service i was told a one fee of 89.95 and they said the bill would go down to 78.00 but instead it went up. And not only that we had problems with the service on a daily base, it would only work half the time and it wouldn’t work from 11 pm until like noon , I called to get it checked out several times and of course they said the problem was fixed and never was.
