Statement on Katie Porter

No one in Washington works harder for American consumers than Katie Porter. The organization running negative ads against her is not associated with FairShake.com and we call on them to stop.

Katie Porter, a congresswoman from California now running for senate, shares these values. Congresswoman Porter has a career-long record of fighting for consumer rights through activism, scholarship, and legislation. A former law professor, she literally wrote the textbook on modern consumer law.

Another “Fairshake” — a political action committee funded with tens of millions of dollars from the scammy, predatory crypto trading industry — has gone after Katie Porter. Their choice of name is a disgrace: this corporate-backed PAC could not care less about protecting fairness for average Americans.
