How to Contact Truist Customer Service

There’s more than one way to contact Truist. And if they don’t listen you have options…

When customer service fails, FairShake can make Truist bank listen.

TruistFinancial is a bank holding company headquartered out of North Carolina. They were formed back in 2019 after a merger between SunTrust and BB&T banks. The company offers small business and commercial banking options, checking and savings accounts for individuals as well as credit cards, investment services, and mortgages. Because they offer so many different services for personal finances and business finances it can seem impossible to find the right customer service representative. The information below should make it easier for you to locate the right customer service department when the time comes.

Truist has an online directory if you don’t know which department you want. This makes it easier to find the number for things like personal insurance claims or debit card problems.

Personal banking, debit cards, and credit cards

Customer service comes in two forms:

  1. A real person
  2. An automated system

If you have an issue with things like hidden fees, you definitely want a real person. To reach a real person you have to call during business hours:  Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm ET, Saturday, 8am to 5pm ET.

To reach the automated system you can call at any time.

Customer service can be reached at 844-4TRUIST (844-487-8478). If you call from outside the U.S. use this number instead: +1-910-914-8250.
