Step-by-Step Guide to Understanding Your Bill

Accessing Your Bill

There are three ways you can view your Suddenlink invoice. It can be done online, by mail, or through the Suddenlink app. Be sure to have your username and password ready to gain access if you are viewing the invoice online. There are a couple of things you should keep in mind when reviewing your bill.

Your statement cycle starts either on the first day of service or a day after the installation date. It includes charges for services, equipment leases, installation charges, and taxes. Statements after that are billed one month in advance.

What’s Included in Your Bill

The first page of the bill lists your billing address, which may be different from your service address. Included on this page is your account number and PIN that you should retain for your records. You should also find important messages on this page.

The invoice should contain the following information:

  1. Account Info: This includes your statement date, account number, and security code.
  2. Account Summary: This includes your billing period, payment due date,  and past due balances.
  3. What Changed: This is a brief description of what has changed since your last bill.
  4. Current Charges and Due Date: This section details the charges on the account for the current billing period.
  5. Suddenlink Updates: You’ll find news, promotions, special events, and savings opportunities.
  6. Charge Details: These are itemized details during the billing period such as partial charges or credits for services added or removed.
  7. Adjustments: An explanation of the credits and fees applied to the account.
  8. Fees and Charges: These are fees imposed by local, state and federal governments.
  9. Partial Month Activity: If there are any changes made to the account during the middle of the month, it lists on the bill under this category.
